For Tesco (Czech Republic), we carried out a large-scale energy audit in line with Act No. 406/2000 Coll., covering dozens of locations nationwide. The audit assessed real energy use and identified savings potential across heating, cooling, lighting and other building technologies. The outcome was a clear package of measures designed to reduce both operating costs and carbon dioxide emissions.

Using consumption data as a baseline, we proposed practical technical and operational measures that can deliver meaningful energy savings across the network. Recommendations included lighting upgrades, smarter ventilation control, and optimisation of cooling systems. Energy audits are mandatory for large companies — but they don’t have to end up as paperwork. We approach audits as a practical optimisation tool: we identify where energy is being lost and propose measures that can be implemented in real operations.
